"Hi - our local Riding for the Disabled group, Ebor Vale RDA which incorporate carriage driving are on the look out for a ride and drive pony - 13-14.2hh preferably 10 years or under ( we have 5 out of 8 OAP's). Must be suitable to live out, be sane and sensible and have at least two years driving experience. Funds are available to purchase the right pony. Wanted
Does anybody have, or know of someone who has, a property to rent or possibly sell to a mature, responsible pony-owning couple? Any kind of house or cottage up to 4 bedrooms considered, but carriage pony and her elderly pony companion require a stable each or an outbuilding which could be used for stabling, some grazing (1 - 2 acres would be ample) and ideally a little extra land for the driving pony to work on. York, Ripon, Harrogate, Wetherby areas preferred, but we would consider anywhere in the north east or towards Cumbria.
